How safe is it to open up my security system with a 6 char alpha numerical password? Wow! -10 stars. Dont buy this system.

I have 8 cameras,but can watch ONLY 4...whats going ooooon ?! Where is app for iPad ?! No update for over a year ?! Dont spend your money on LOREX !!!!!!! Are you Lorex people still back in 80s ?!!!!!!

I love this simple app to see my cameras. Unfortunately, I got iPhone 5S. I see the remaining old aspect of iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S. I think lorex is too lazy to update versions of apps. I feel they should add more than 4 screens for iPhone 5/5C/5S. I am sure these iPhones performance can handle more than 4 screens. No version for IPad. Its pathetic.

Upgraded from a Edge series to the ECO, what a mistake! This app only lets you see 4 cameras at a time, cant view recorded video and the dont even have one for the iPad! The Edge series had separate apps for the iPhone and iPad, let you see all 16 cameras at once on the iPad and you could watch recorded video. The Eco series is a big disappointment! Do yourself a favor and stay away from the ECO until they get their heads out of the sand!

app only works when Im connected to wifi that cameras are connected... once i get home i get nothing... help....

This app is really bad, it is like you cannot count on this app. When I try to watch the cameras it show only 1 camera, then it stops and tries to reload the image and another camera shows up and the first one doesnt. I cant watch my 6 cameras at once. It is a waste of time even opening the app. Next time I will buy another brand.

I really wish I could edit the camera names to what I want..

This app used to work on my iPhone and iPad but now it does not and the Tec support does not know why... When it did work it wasnt all that great but now that it doesnt the camera systems that I have in my stores are virtually useless to me! Sure people can see that I have cameras but I cant view them. Does anyone know of another app that works to replace this one?

Pro: Good application and easy to use after your done with the costumer service for like an hour... Cons: Make sure your internet provider which i have ATT have the portal number open so that your app can connect to it. I spend hours to figure out whats wrong why my app is not working and i found out that my internet provider is blocking the portal. So i called my internet provider and request for the portal to be open in order for my app to access my home camera. Its a hustle but after im done with them it works very well!

First let me start off by saying that Im a 20 year I.T. director. Secondly let me say that I never write reviews, this may be my 2nd ever. But due to this POS app I felt I needed to write this and maybe help some folks here. When I bought my Lorex system I set everything up and everything worked fine, DDNS, Mobile & Client. Then one day my mobile app stopped working (Ver 1.0.3 with latest Lorex firmware, Iphone 5S latest OS). No network changes. Being in I.T., I went through everything concerning set up (reinstalls included) and nothing would make my mobile app work. I know, 100% the settings are correct and I know this bec I downloaded MEye and used the same exact settings and everything worked perfectly. If your mobile device stopped working dont pull your hair out, download a non affiliated 3rd party App to do what Lorex couldnt accomplish with their own sorry App. Lorex, get to work, you have some catching up to do!

Worked fine with ios 7 will not allow me to log in with ios 8.

As with most lorex products this app is cumbersome and often just doesnt work as it is suppose it. I regret getting any products through lorex.

It is a good app, easy to use and works fine over wifi and cell networks (unlike some reviewers indicated). The con: it shows only four cameras at a time so you need to switch between them if you have more cameras connected as I do. Other than that, once you set it up correctly and understand how it works it is a great thing to have...

Recently quit working. Please fix.

Please update app No update since 2012 App draws battery like crazy when in background-(when you not using it) If you forget to hard quit app in 2 hours phone is dead Please fix it

Initially I was able to view all 16 cameras, now I have to manually go & click on each. I thought it was because I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 6plus, but my old iPhone 5s is also experiencing the same malfunction. Lorex, you gaits are slipping. Looking for new system, any suggestions?

The entire Lorex line of equipment, including this app, reminds me of stuff I would buy at Radio Shack in 1989. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Previous versions worked on iPad as well as iPhone as their website claims it does. However, this version will not work in landscape mode on the iPad or iPad mini. The screen display keyboard never goes away and rotating the iPad will not move the images to landscape like it does on the iPhone. Although now this app says for iPhone, before the latest version it also worked on iPad. It no longer does. I spent over 2.5 hrs on the phone with Lorex on this issue and they were in denial and tried to blame it on my iPad until they tried it themselves on theres. They say they are submitting a request to the developement dept to fix landscape for the iPad but I would not hold your breath on that.

When I try to view a camera, It says It wont connect to The server, And It just stays Blank. Pelase fix. Thank you.

The app was actually BETTER on Windows Phone 7... 7!!!! Nuff said
